Thankyou, fascination is exactly what attracts me to birds and especially when they are in flight. they make it look so easy and gracefull.

For me too. We have tall Cherry trees in our garden and can watch the birds coming in in the morning from bed (quite a luxury). Chaffinches in flight are particularly impressive. Sometimes they come in at such speed, change direction in mid air in an instant and land precisely with perfect grace. At other times they seem to perform a kind of tumbling flight through the garden like falling leaves in the wind.

We have loads of feeders up and I love to watch all the different characters and flight patterns the different species have.
